The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala was last night and as usual, the red carpet was awash with beautiful people and gowns. 

My favourites of the night were: 

 Emma Stone in Lanvin: Simple, stylish and unbelievably cute. 

 Carey Mulligan in Prada: Wow.

 Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan Atelier: Beautiful.
