Our new lineup this month isn’t only TV shows; we also have hit movies. Direct from DVD, we’re proud to bring you The Rural Juror, winner of multiple awards worldwide including “Most Unpronounceable Film” at the Cannes Film Festival and “The Daytona High School Movie Night Participation Award.” The seven-hour, one-part film follows Jenna Maroney as a twirler girl whose demure world, spurred by Irma Luhrman-Merman’s murder, is cured by a fervid whirl of her turgid error. ABC Family has announced the premiere date for new series Ravenswood.

The Pretty Little Liars spin-off centres on the town of Ravenswood, which is close to the Liars town of Rosewood.

According to ET, Ravenswood has suffered under a deadly curse for generations and the show revolves around five strangers brought together by this curse.

Sounds Exciting!

The premiere of Ravenswood airs this October.

Jennifer Lawrence falls onto the stage and into our hearts as she goes to collect her Academy Award for Best Actress.

The 22 year-old became the second youngest lead actress to take home the coveted gold statue and reminded us all why we love her when she met the press backstage after receiving the award. Baffled by a journalists question about ‘how she prepared for the day’ she replied ‘I had a shower…’, before admitting she’d had a little dutch courage ‘I did a shot!’

It’s finally here!

Here’s what we learn from our first look at Girls Season 2:

Hannah is now living with her gay ex-boyfriend Elijah (yay for more Andrew Rannells!), and is trying to find the ‘kind, sexy, responsible boyfriend’ she’s ‘always wanted’. It would appear this involves liaisons with both Patrick Wilson and Donald Glover.
Fear not, though because Adam is still around! Making sad videos of him singing his heart out and breaking into Hannah’s apartment to tell her his affection for her cannot be repressed, aw.
Like Adam, Marni is not having a great time, she doesn’t have a boyfriend or a job and then her mum tells her she looks 30. Shoshanna suggests she get a ‘pretty person job’, but one that’s not a model. Ouch.
Shoshanna meanwhile, is getting on well post-deflowering and looks to be dating or at least still sleeping with, her deflowerer(?).
Finally Jessa, is happily enjoying being Mrs Venture Capitalist and tells Hannah to stop overthinking things; so what if she didn’t know where they lived!

Overall looks like it’s going to be another crazy ride and I can’t wait.

Girls returns January 13 on HBO.

New Taylor Swift song!

The new song is called ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ and was released last night during a webchat with fans on her YouTube page. It’s also the first single from her fourth album Red.

It’s a great song with an infectious chorus that will be in my head all day.

But the real question is, who is it about?! Let the decoding begin!
