Another day, another Hunger Games trailer! This latest instalment marks 50 days to the start of the 74th Annual Hunger Games and it cannot come soon enough. 

The trailer expands on what we’ve already seen in previous videos and also indicates some possible plot changes. For instance, we see Katniss giving her famous Mockingjay pin as a gift to her sister Prim, when in the books the pin was given to Katniss by her friend Madge before she left for the games. I’m not sure how I feel about this but, as long as it’s only one of the minor changes made, I’m not sure it makes much difference. 

We also see Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), the interviewer who presents the participants to the nation before the games begin and more of Cinna (Lenny Kravitz), Katniss’ stylist, who places the Mockingjay pin on her outfit, where it will become her trademark. Both look pretty impressive, as do the new shots of the Capitol. But again the thing that really stands out is Jennifer Lawrence in what looks to be an excellent performance of the stoic Katniss. She’s going to kill it. 

I cannot wait.
