The odds were always in favour of The Hunger Games becoming a runaway success at the Box Office when it was released this weekend, but now the real question is, was it any good?
In a word, yes. It was good. Really good.

I love Happy Endings.
Next week the gang are celebrating Penny’s birthday and are hoping this year goes without a hitch. Although it would appear that Penny’s birthday is cursed. Check out this clip with some hysterical flashbacks to some of her more unfortunate celebrations which include, but are not limited to, a clown almost dying and getting hit in the face with a beer bottle. Hilarious. But enjoy it while it lasts because there are only four episodes left of this season! Which is totally not amahhzing.
So today I joined the gym.
No honestly, I did. Don’t laugh.
I am now a fully-fledged member with a backpack and everything (I’m not going to lie, the free backpack was part of the reason I signed up). I jumped into my new life as a gym bunny by taking a spinning class and discovered that it’s a good job I joined, because, wow, I am so unfit. Seriously it was painful. The instructor looked on in horror as I collapsed over the handle bars - during the warm-up. It was not a pretty sight. Not to mention the fact that I had forgotten my hair clips, so at the end of the session I had some serious curly fringe issues going on. Lovely.
Nevertheless, it’s a good thing that I’ve finally decided to get off my bum and do some exercise. And I’m sure it will pay off in the long run. In the meantime my legs hurt. A lot. I am really going to need help going up the stairs at work tomorrow.
I’m not worried though, because in a few weeks I’ll probably look like this:

One day at a time…
On Friday, I had dinner with two of my friends, Rachel and Beth, and we were discussing our lives/futures/careers. We were worrying about carrying on in this limbo we seem to have found ourselves in recently.

I love cereal. Like really love it. It’s basically the one food that I probably could not live without.
