I was already pretty excited to see ABC’s new show Pan Am. It looks like Mad Men with planes and has Christina Ricci, what’s not to like? Then I noticed this:

It’s Donna from Neighbours! Now there’s one more reason to watch. The only thing that would make it even better would be if Ringo happened to get on her plane and they lived happily ever after…

I’ve collected bookmarks since I was little and think this is brilliant. It doesn’t seem too hard to make one myself either. Think I’ll be making a trip to Hobbycraft..

Apologies for the fact that I’ve been a bit MIA recently, I’ve been in essay hell and as such haven’t had many things to like. But on Monday I handed in the last of my work and so here’s what I’ve been loving this week:
Great Cards from Great Friends: In addition to the hilarious cards I received for my birthday a few weeks ago, on Thursday the pictured card landed on my doormat. It’s Taylor Swift and it sings. Brilliant.
Upfronts: The TV networks have released their upcoming schedules for the new season. I’m particularly excited for Are you there vodka? It’s me Chelsea and Apartment 23.
No More Essays: This week I became one step closer to becoming a university graduate when I handed in my final essay. Whilst I still have two exams to go, it’s been nice to have a little break to sort things out and apply for some jobs.
Songs of the Week:
Lady Gaga ‘Edge of Glory’
Parachute ‘White Dress’
Colbie Caillat ‘Brighter than the Sun’
Levi Kreis ‘I Should Go’
Stella Project ‘Aeroplane’
Today I submitted the final essay of my degree. I am celebrating with this:

I think Liz Lemon would approve.

Bridesmaid Eliza Lopes Holds Pink Wiggly Worm in Official Royal Wedding Photos
‘“Harry pulled this wiggly worm out of his pocket in the carriage to keep them amused,” Camilla explained. “Eliza loved it so much that she wouldn’t let go and it even made the official photographs.’
Of course he did. Seriously, could we love Harry any more??

A somewhat belated edition this week, because I’ve been away and had an essay to write, but here’s what I’ve been loving this week:
- The Royal Wedding: I loved everything about it, the dress, the flowers, the best man.. I stayed at my friends and we all got up early to enjoy the festivities, with cocktails and cake. A great day.
- Reunions: Because the majority of my friends graduated last summer, we don’t get to see each other that often, so the Royal Wedding gave us the perfect opportunity to get together and catch up.
- Birthdays: This week it was mine and my nans birthday, which has meant just one thing: lots of cake! My friends, along with a necklace, got me a great little book called ‘Pep Talks and Picker-Uppers’; a hilarious book, full of inspirational quotes for every situation. Exactly what I need in my current state of despair about leaving uni.
- Songs of the Week Royal Wedding Edition: ‘Your Song’ - Ellie Goulding: The newlyweds had Ellie herself perform this song for their first dance. Perfect. ’Jerusalem’: A beautiful hymn that was sung during the ceremony. ’God Save The Queen’: Regal and Patriotic. No royal wedding is complete without the National Anthem!
Kate Middleton Wore Just A Tad Too Much Mascara
People always find something to complain about. I thought she looked amazing.
